Configuration instructions for setting up the VIA Sophos VPN.
These initial steps only need to be completed once to import your individual VPN profile into the client on your PC/laptop.
Go to the website https://vpn.viawny.org using any browser on your PC or laptop. Log in with your VIA email address and password.
You will be presented with the Microsoft Multi-Factor authentication. Approve the login to continue.
Once you are logged in, click the link for the Windows configuration file.
In the download pop-up, click "Open file." If the pop-up disappears, you can find the file in your Downloads folder.
This completes the configuration of the VPN client.
This is the process to connect to the VPN.
Click the ^ by your clock to view the items in your tray (1). Right-click the Sophos Connect icon (2), then left-click the Sophos Connect box (3).
Alternatively, you can click the Sophos Connect icon on your desktop or in your start menu.
Click connect.
Click Single Sign-on (SSO) and follow the prompts to enter your email address, password, and approve the authentication via the authenticator app.
If you see the green check mark, you are connected.
